La Carreta: Authentic Mexican Flavors in Los Angeles

The best carne asada mulitas ever... my go to since 2008. They make their tortillas from scratch. The burritos are also so so good. Tried their agua de pepino and horchata and I loved them too. A hidden gem.

we came in on the night before new years eve 2023 and expected it to be busy but luckily for us there was plenty of on site parking available. we ordered the carne asada torta , tacos with al pastor, carne asada and lengua. they each were very good and had a good portion size of the meat. they have a small salsa bar for the toppings and also beans you can serve in a cup. i will note here that there was an issue with our initial order as our torta was input on the order incorrectly as shrimp but we didn't notice until they had made it. they double checked the receipt, asked for a few minutes to remake it and apologized. i'm sure we'll be back in the future again to try some different stuff on their menu.

A little hole in the wall in Los Angeles. Nothing fancy but the food speaks for itself. A little fast-paced during lunch but very well worth the visit.

Mulitas with the freshly made tortillas are still the best. Menudo was a bit on the blend side, como que le falto sabor. Don't get confused and order the quesadillas, the mulitas is what put this place on the map from when they first started out of a food truck... Enjoy...

Legit tacos, tried the buche and they were very good. The tongue were fine, they needed a bit more flavor, and the tripa dorada were delicious. If you want AUTHENTIC tacos and not gringo-tacos this is an excellent choice. Prices are right. Not fancy but you go there for the food.

I rarely do reviews but this one I had too. My husband went and got food. We got 1 burrito de asada, 2 carnitas tacos, 4 asada tacos. I can say these were so booooomb with the red sauce spicy and tasty, salsa had amazing flavor. Green salsa was also good but I like my salsas spicy and red did the trick. But everything was so delicious and definitely going back.

The food was amazing it was so filling . The staff is amazing and friendly!!! I drove from Whittier to come here can wait to be back
